Why Should Singapore Not Be Complacent in Her Achievements?

  After reading the articles, I realised that Singapore could be overtaken by other countries if they become complacent. Being a small country, Singapore does not have much natural resources and thus could be easily overtaken by large countries if Singapore becomes complacent as it could not sell its natural resources to other countries to make money.
  Becoming too proud will also prevent other countries from working together with Singapore, thus resulting a slower development, thus resulting lower living standard of its people.
  if Singapore does not become complacent, it will continue its development and the living standard of its people will continue to improve, thus resulting a higher living standard of its people.
