To keep or not to keep

In my opinion, I think that the places that preserves the culture such as Little India, Chinatown, Kampong Galem should be preserved. It is not a waste of space to me. Some people think that we should remove all these historical infrastructure to build more roads, more housing estates, etc, to further improve and enhance the country's economic. However, we should always have a grateful heart and know where we come from and how we come from. These should also be preserved to let the future generation passed down the knowledge. It also gives us a sense of identity that we are one country, one Singapore! This will be able to bond us more together and in the times of difficulties, we will never fall apart. It creates a sense of belongings.
Not only that, this also serves as a attractive place to attractive tourist to visit. With tourists coming into our countries, our economic will rise as they will need to spend money if they are visiting this country.
Thus, my stand is to keep and preserve the culture.
