Poverty and happiness

Are we a happy country? Why or why not?
Although I am from China, but I had been living in Singapore for seven years. This years that I have been living in Singapore shows me that Singapore is a happy country. This is because that there is no racism in Singapore so my family and I are equality treated. There is also no poverty in Singapore and no gender inequality in Singapore as well so people who are living in Singapore could do what they want(as long as it is not against the law) and not get criticized by others or left out among other people. As compared to China, Singapore has a lower poverty rate, higher trade and financial flows and higher environmental sustainability. Thus, I think Singapore is a happy country.
Does being rich means happy?
Rich does not means happy. This is because China is wealthier than Singapore by a lot but the poverty rate and rate of people having a mobile phone is lower than Singapore. This shows that there are relatively more people who are not employed in China than in Singapore, thus the people in China may not be as happy as in Singapore. Although Singapore is not as wealthy as China, but it could give its citizens a happier life. Thus, I think that reach does not means happy.
