The extraordinary in the ordinary

This picture depicts a school cleaner mopping the floor in the canteen. This picture looked perfectly ordinary and normal. Suddenly, it dawned upon me that the cleaners in the school are usually the people that are getting quite old and has already whitened their hairs or has a hunched back.
Why are they still working even though they are so old? My ideal thought of the usual activities that the elderly should be engaged are like relaxing at home or taking a walk in the park when they wanted to go out for some fresh air. However, the truth is that many of them are still working to earn some money.
The next question popped to my mind was: Why is he working? This moment, myriad of possibilities pushed themselves into my mind. Well, perhaps, he was too bored at home, and wanted to occupied himself with something to ease his boredom. Or the reason might be that his children are not fealty and they left him alone and were not concerned about him. From this picture, I can see that he is quite tired and did not looked very happy. That is reasonable, as even young people like me cannot really stay energetic after long hours of school, let alone him. And furthermore, he was doing cleaning all day and that was more definitely more laborious than us. Or perhaps, he did not like his job or simply he was just in a bad mood.
I think we should appreciate what the school cleaner has done for us to give us a clean and more conducive environment and we should also do our part by keeping the school clean.
