The African little girl and the vulture

African girl with vulture

This picture reflected the current condition in Africa--some parts of Africa are still in this condition, some adults and children are dying of hunger. In this picture, the vulture is waiting for the hungry child to die so that it would be able to feed on the dead body of the child. The vulture actually demonstrates the state of the current society now. The vulture is like a standby of a passerby. If the child was an old lady going to die of heart attack on the road, every one would be like the vulture, just staying by the side and doing nothing about it, waiting for the old lady to die. This demonstrated that the people's quality has deproved and that they have missed the value "people centricity".

We can look at this picture at another different perspective. In Singapore, this is not happening but in other countries, this is. This showed how different is our government and how different our economy status is different each country. If the country have money, this would not happen as it would take into account of all the people in the country and the government also need to be good enough to make sure that the economic status is good and that no one would die of hunger and lack of water, a way of dieing that make people suffers a lot.

From this picture, our group reflected that we need to treasure what we are having and getting now because the other people in other countries may not be enjoying what we are enjoying now.
